LOVE WRITING POETRY BUT DON'T SEEM TO DO IT AS OFTEN AS YOU'D LIKE?
Join us to celebrate National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo). Take the challenge to write a poem every day during April. In class, we’ll use writing prompts and exercises to make poetry writing fun, easy and healing.
This is a no-stress class. There is no good or bad with poetry. It's just that you're writing it or you're not. And in this setting, we're going to crank it up and write lots of poems, vignettes, 100-word stories and more.
Joan Gregerson has participated in the National Poetry Writing Month's poem-a-day challenge multiple years, including writing a poem every day for over one year. It's (obviously!) addicting.
Optional: Start a new blog or use one you have to share your poetry with the world, if you'd like. Submit your poetry blog to NaPoWriMo.
Series or Individual Sessions: Open to all ages, all levels
