Teen & Children's Programming
Enrich and deepen your child or teen’s personal and artistic voice by venturing beyond where a typical art education class might go. Each studio will be infused with skill building, problem-solving and the exploration of emotional expression appropriate for each individual’s developmental level. Send your pre-teen artist to the Violet Hive In-between Art Studio. This time period for this age group can be tough. It can be hard to still want to play but also start to take more accountability and explore identity. This will be an intentionally created space for your pre-teen to make art and be themselves. The studio will be held and supported by Art Therapists and the studio will involve a variety of materials (painting, fiber arts, collage, 3-D Junk Art and more)
*This studio is the same time as the teen studio but most days will meet in a separate room... if there is a lesson or combined class we will make sure all content is age appropriate or guided in a way that each age group's needs will be met. This registration is for Pre-Teens 10-13yrs.
Enrich and deepen your teen's individual personal and artistic voice by participating in a community of artists from different schools who want to venture beyond where your school’s art classes go. Each Thursday we will be supporting your teen in techniques or mediums to expand and explore your creativity.
Send your young artist to the Violet HIve Open Heart Art Studio. This will be an intentionally created space for your child to make art and be themselves. The studio will be held and supported by licensed Art Therapists and Masters level interns. The studio will involve a variety of materials (painting, fiber arts, collage, 3-D Junk Art and more)...
