I have had the privilege of witnessing positive changes and healing in my clients including a five-year-old recovering from leukemia blossoming from a shy and anxious “sick” kid to a lively and extroverted tomboy, a lonely pre-teen on the Autistic Spectrum who just needed someone to listen to his fascinating take on Transformers and Minecraft, a young single mom worried that she was not doing enough for her young children, a girl grieving the loss of her father, a woman struggling to express herself authentically, and a teen needing someone consistent in her life who could show her what it meant to be nurtured. I love facilitating art groups and look forward to doing much much more with the Violet Hive Art Therapy Collective. My approach to working with clients is strengths based, nurturing, and accepting, utilizing the therapeutic relationship to encourage self-acceptance and facilitate healthy changes.
Approaches and modalities include: Art Therapy, Mindfulness, Attachment, Self Psychology, Family Systems, SoulCollage® facilitator
